The new Tangent?  I loved it.  I've only been able to listen to it in full once, but it's pretty good.  Pretty mellow in parts, but this will definitely be an album that I can put on and lose myself in it.

I've getting that quite a bit, where by 'Mellow' seems to be a predominant theme in the music.
Anyway. Thank you. I really enjoyed Anathema's Weather Systems and that was definitely a mellow album to my ears, so maybe I should give The Tangent a go. :)

Hey man! Nice! I quite enjoy this album as well. I've been a fan of DM for years and years.
I think they still have some rocket Sauce left in the bottle. Still going strong.
Also, on a side note. Loved your SOUND OF CONTACT review.

Take care.

Does your head explode while listening Mahavishnu Orchestra? Maybe that's more Birds of Fire, but they are so technical and fast! Ive got lots of respect for them. :)

Had a really nice day with my prog.

Cynic--Traced in Air
Ozric Tentacles--Paper Monkeys ( I don't see what all the fuss is about. This is a solid album. I really like it. I know it's a lot different from the Jurrasic Shift days, but it's still creative and great. )
IQ--EVER
BELIEVE--Yesterday is a friend. ( great album. Lots of string instruments featured in the songs, namely the Violin. Nice album. Very mellow too, but I would not classify it as Neo Prog. )
NIne Inch Nails--The Downward spiral. (SACD audio format! Great great quality. Listening to MR. SELF DESTRUCT in 5.1 channeled audio separation trough a pair of super HD headphones is one hell of an experience.)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

"Noonward Race" is definitely a head exploding track!  I remember the 1st time I heard Mahavishnu in '77...I had recently gotten into Crimso and still hadn't heard all the albums...a college radio station played Birds of Fire and I was convinced it was Fripp!  Course, when I found out it was Mahavishnu that was cool cause it gave me another great band to check out Thumbs Up
