| I see no need in posting it twice though. I heard Three Friends 3 times today myself but I honestly don't see the need to post it 3 times. The way I see it is as long as you've listened to an album whether it was once, twice or thrice it is still only the same album . But you have your way of doing things

| Nice album, good Doctor! I picked up the mini LP CD of this a few weeks back, it's really lovely! Very dated, but plenty of good stuff on it! The opener `Time Machine' is superb, and I love `I've No Idea', that longer piece! Today's listening: 21st November 2013: Rhun - Fanfare du Chaos Jean-Phillippe Goude - Drones Magma - 1001 Degrees Centigrade, Attahk. Tirill Mohn - Nine and Fifty Swans

Your not even half way there yet....the road to the red country is long!
Also, shows what a non observant man I am cause I just noticed now that your avatar has little Beaty, sinister eyes above the hat brim of your character. . Now I can see where you get your Doomy edge from.
I love it. . Also, thought of you today cause I got to spin ASIA MINOR's BETWEEN FLESH AND DIVINE.
How good is Northern Lights?! I can totally understand why you adore that album. It really is pure Turkish Delight. |
Turkish Delight indeed, Northern Lights is brilliant! Shoot, that whole album is amazing and one of progs best kept secrets
Still binge listening on The Road to Red:
disc 7 : El Paso 6/8/74 disc 8 : Denver 6/16/74 disc 9 : Milwaukee 6/22/74
Also threw these in to mix things up...

It's been a while since I last posted in this thread (sorry Sagi ), but I had a very nice day of music listening yesterday, and thought I'd make a nice comeback in here.
Ze Cure - Kiss me times 3 (If you thought ZC got psychedelic with Disintegration, you may want to zoom back to this one and see where it all started) Teeth of the Sea - Master (Bippedi-zip gun laser beam post rock with lots of psychedelic sauce on the side) Pretty Things - Parachute (The Abbey Road album done a little bit better by another band) Boards of Canada - Geogaddi (Brilliant tune in turn on drop out music that just drifts on by you while you're bobbing gently along to the beats) Colosseum - Valentyne Suite (Volcanic early jazz rock that features Jon Hiseman's absolute finest moment during the suite) Biglietto per L'Inferno - s/t (Come on baby - hit me with those lightsaber synths right smack in the middle of what genuinely sounds like a real life broom cupboard recording. It works though) Fifty Foot Hose - Cauldron (The American Amon Düül!) Procession - Frontiera (Fine wine and Hendrix) Wipers - Youth of America (Boot up your backside with a disturbingly melodic twist to it) Orbital - In Sides (One of my absolute favourite electronic albums at the moment!) Frankie Dymon Jr - Let it Out (Krautrock/folk/funk and psychedelic soul, what's not to like?)
