A weekend spent on Ligeti and Romitelli.
The only prog album I've listened to today was:

Heyoka - The Spirit Of Revelation

But in the last days I've listened a lot to the last Nichelodeon/Insonar - UKIYOE
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.
My poor home recorded stuff at https://yellingxoanon.bandcamp.com

They should have released it as a double album to avoid confusion Tongue

This weekend:
Oresund Space Collective - Live at Loppen (CD 3 and 4)
Lizards Exist - s/t
VDGG - Still Life (Is there an intrumental version of the album? Hammill never stops singing, it's so annoying Confused)
Steve Roach - Invisible (Really good album, with lots of progression and many little sound details. Transmits many different emotions throughout too, which alowed the mind to imagine a very strange mental movie Cool)

^ I know Sam, but then how would record companies especially that of independent labels make money.
Lol. Also and FYI I feel Steve roach's music is amazing. I like the shamanic ambient soundscapes.

Sunday lounging in the arena of prog.

Arena-- immortal
Arena--Contagion
Arena--Live (2011 tour. Both discs)
Kraftwerk--The man Machine. ( lol we are the robots!)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Steven Wilson – Hand. Cannot. Erase
Jane – Jane 3
Nektar – Down to Earth
If – Live Europe ‘72
Steve Roach – Monuments of Ecstasy
Emerson, Lake and Palmer – Live in California 1974
Peter Baumann – Romance ’76 (what an amazing electronic album from the former Tangerine Dream member!)
Camel – A Live Record (killer complete 70’s recording of `Snow Goose’ on the double CD reissue, just incredible, great drumming especially!)

Sam, I still haven’t listened to the proper CD of `Invisible’ yet. From what I understand, the second half is now extended in comparison to the free download. We were damn lucky to get that CD!

Nick, if you like his more tribal/shamanic albums, I recently reviewed his most recent one called `The Ancestor Circle', sounds like you might really dig that one.

What did you think of Mr. Wilson's latest work? Smile
I have to listen to that Baumann Big smile
That Camel album is really awesome, I kind of prefer that version of Snow Goose to the studio album. And with Mel Collins and Richard Sinclair's groovy playing, it's a 5 star release IMO Smile

I didn't knew it was longer, but there were some stuff I didn't listen before Tongue

Today:
We Trust - Everyday Heroes (To think that I waited 4 years to listen to this cr@p, it's really not like the very nice Progish Pop of the previous album, it's just boring sellout Pop Dead Thanks Spotify, I just saved a few euros LOL)
Cybotron - s/t (It has many forgettable moments, but the last track is really good)
Rush - Counterparts (A classic Rush album indeed! Thumbs Up)
Glass Hammer - The Inconsolable Secret (Listened to both discs, this album is amazing, a bit underrated IMO Clap ...and it has beautiful female vocals, not like Chronometree LOL)

Haven't listened to that Wilson much yet, Sam, just the first two tracks or so, but I was shocked by how much the music on the first proper track sounded so much like Rush! Will report back as I get through the set more soon.

I never had the vinyl of Camel's `A Live Record', and I just picked up the double CD reissue at a recent record fair. Absolutely Mel Collins and Richard Sinclair's inclusion gives them a very different sound. But, as much as I enjoy the Snow Goose studio album, I feel this might be the superior version as well! Was the Snow Goose part included on the original LP version?

Ha! I knew you would like `The Inconsolable Secret'!! It's perhaps a bit of a modern symphonic classic, certainly one of GH's best albums at least. Do you see what I mean that both of the discs have quite a different sound? I still think of it as two different releases simply bundled together.

Aussie Cybotron....I have two of their albums (even reviewed one of them), but I can't think off the top of my head which two I have!

That's what thought about that track too :P

I have the original LP and it's a double one, Snow Goose is disc 2.

Very different albums indeed and both really good.

You got past the magical number of albums, when you can't remember what you have? :D

The original double CD pressing of `The Inconsolable Secret' (which I've still got) is worth quite a bit these days, that's the reason they reissued it. I've also got the reissue, which in addition to a bit of remixing, adds a third disc where Jon Davison re-records some of the vocals. I suppose that's a nice addition for fans who came onboard when he did, but it felt a little unnecessary...besides, we all know the Glass Hammer album really in need of some re-recorded vocals! cough `Chronometree!' cough

I went to see Pentatonix with my longtime girlfriend yesterday and I have to say they were pretty good. Despite playing many songs on the radio today (which I absolutely hate), I actually like them. They did a little Bohemian Rhapsody and Michael Jackson, Went out and bought their albums and basically listened to them for the rest of the night. Can't say I'm proud of myself for liking them but they play some really nice A Capella.
There is no dark side in the moon, really... Matter of fact, it's all dark...

Hand. Cannot. Erase.

Definitely lives up to all the hype, can't really fault anything about it. I'm going to have to listen to it again.
