Happy birthday PA!
I've not been around for so long and I don't have as much time as I would like to dedicate to music, let alone to PA, but within my possibilities I will try to keep hanging around here, it's a nice site kept alive by some nice people!

Ooh, coming up on my seventh year hanging out here.

Here's a list of artists I discovered here first:
Explosions In The Sky
Triggering Myth, A
Pure Reason Revolution
Mr. Bungle
Phideaux
Pineapple Thief, The
Parallel Mind
Talisma
No Sound
Reasoning, The
Gongzilla
Crimson Jazz Trio
Umphrey's McGee
Discipline
Cusick, Paul
Black Mountain
Big Big Train
Garbarek, Anja
Flood
Gorishankar, The
Rhodes, Happy
Univers Zero
Dead Can Dance
Samuel Jackson Five, The
Stereokimono

25.  I like them all and don't think I would have discovered them independently.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I trust that joke didn't go over the head of anyone who has been here for awhile.

I think it's only 2 or 3 more years, actually.

You're but an amateur, Ian - compared to some we've seen over the years ... one of whom (after a name change) ended up on the Admin Team

I resemble that remark!

Certainly , John! PA has aided and abetted my plundering of my bank account, but all I keep doing is buying fabulous albums, haven't had a stinker in years! But the true quality is the wonderful people I have met on this site , starting with the sadly departed but never forgotten "FEBUS" ! Also I can claim that I am lucky to have true good  friends like Mellotronstorm, Finnforest, Lazland, Guldbamsen,Rivertree, Atavachron, Rushfan4, Conor Fynes, B_Olariu, Man With hat , Lucas, Mervir .......well I can go on and on.......There are a few idiots but you know you you are, bless them for they do not understand....LOL ... Some sterling artists have sent me Cds, letters, I even met a few (the amazing CAP in Milan). PA has made my life so much better .........LOVE YOU ALL Heart

What a ride it's been.  Cool

In the time I've been here, I've been through 3 girlfriends, lived in different countries and 4 different states, had 67 jobs (Embarrassed) and yet, this place has remained a constant.

Congrats to the PA community!
I've been reading the reviews the past 7 years or so, but only really participated the last 4. The thing that really pulled me in was the big gang bang we had in Sweden 2009... Good stuff.
