Oh, but it was a nice carpet Tongue

This is prog in all it's cheesy glory. Didn't lake get it to prevent him from getting electrocuted again. Heard something about that once.

Yes that was the reason to get a rug in the first place, and if you can afford the real deal - why not.
Greg's still got the rug, btw. A nice investment.

That has to be the biggest triangle I've ever seen.  I guess Carl was jealous of Greg's rug LOL

Ya, and added to Carl's 2 ton stainless steel shell drum kit I bet the roadies had to pour a concrete foundation before every show Wink

King Crimson jumped the shark when they put out songs like "The World's My Oyster Soup Kitchen Floor Wax Museum" and "The ConstruKtion of Light". LOL

I know this was a couple pages ago... but I'll be honest. Drama is an amazing album.

And I love the Buggles. Sure, it's pure pop, but it also has elements of great songwriting.

Yeah. Seems to be a growing consensus here on PA about YES being shark jumpers after Drama.

You know it's funny out of the Big three YES GENESIS and PINK FLOYD, Floyd is the only band that really didn't do any pop infused music with in there sound...maybe a little on AMLOR but I loooooove that album. :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Jethro Tull jumped it with A. It was such a self conscious attempt to modernize. Ian and Martin looked ridiculous in those white jumpsuits. Were they trying to be DEVO?
ELP - Love Beach of course. They were approaching the shark with Works I and II, building the intensity and suspense leading up to the actual jump.
Genesis - They didn't really jump the shark, they just sort of paddled around it in a canoe for a while and then it tipped over. Same with Yes, I think. Big Generator was obviously the end of anything Progressive (for the time being), but it wasn't ridiculous or laughable.
Good analysis, but I would say Genesis did "jump the shark" with 'And Then There Were Three' (1978).  Losing both Gabriel and Hackett was a blow they really never recovered from - 'Duke' (1980) notwithstanding...

I'd bought every Tull album as soon as it came out since Minstrel and "A" was the 1st time I was disappointed...I hated the music, I hated the song titles, and I hated the jumpsuits LOL

Maybe Yes could record a sequel to "Tormato" and call it "Sharknado"?
