Just about every thing on Black Sabbath's 13 album. Being a diehard Sabbath fan I never thought I'd ever say that about their material.

Nirvana - Teen Spirit

These two & all of the horrible cover attempts I've heard over the years.

Rush - Tom Sawyer
I know, how dare I? It isn't a bad song. But between rock radio & my uncles I was force fed it way to much growing up.

Name something off of the top 40 list, odds are I don't want to here it again.

Agree, mostly agree, and uber-agree.

I swear that Nirvana randomly became extremely popular again, and I can't figure out why. Most of their stuff just seems monotonous and forced to sound depressing.

Tom Sawyer I don't mind, but I'd rather hear a bit more variation on the radio. Something from 90s or 00s albums would be nice to hear.

And don't need to add more to the top 40 comment. LOL

Yes it is respectable!.

But musically I thought it could have been stronger. Ozzy made the album as a whole sound repetitive & I don't think Geezer's lyrics were as memorable as I am use to. Also the jam quality of Black Sabbath is missing on this album & the production failed to capture the rawness that I have been spoiled by in the past. Overall after multiple spins I don't hate it nor did I love it. In my opinion it is just okay.

I have all the Ozzy/Sabbath albums but don't plan to get 13. The tracks I've heard are ok but nothing great...that being said, I think the album is cool because Tony was diagnosed with cancer and began chemo and still wrote the album and has been touring 6 weeks on - 2 weeks off to accommodate his treatments. He's a true Iron Man and an inspiration for us all Bowdown

Considering the passage of time, all the crap these guys have been through/are going through, it's a fairly admirable effort from all parties concerned. I'm not saying it's 'classic', but for one to list this album as something they never want to hear again seems very odd to me.

Agreed. Wouldn't care if I never heard that one again. I played it in a band and it actually wasn't horrible, but I still don't like the song.

One I just thought of was If You Want My Love by Cheap Trick. There's much worse around admittedly, but when I hear this lame annoying rock anthem come up on the classic rock station as it often does, I feel just a tad disappointed, as there's better overplayed stuff they could've chosen.

I hate that song too! I saw Cheap Trick open for Led Zep in '77 and I was dreading the inevitable moment where every moron in the Oakland Coliseum would get up and dance to that miserable excuse for a song LOL

Sorry Jim, but that song starts and ends well enough (with that Middle-Eastern synth passage) but the main part is just littered with images of a red-neck, muscular oaf who claims to work hard but just gets sloshed and treats women like rubbish (well, that's what goes through my head......). It must be the way he sings it.......

That would be Rick Nielsen...I always thought it would have been a better use of his time to focus on playing just one neck really good LOL
