Probably as good a time as any to relaunch one of these, as the old one is closing on 550 pages.

As always, I'm going to start out with some Soft Machine in honour of FebusSmile

Again:
Indo prog/Raga rock Kraut acoustic Swedish album with loads of "What's going on here" sections.

Not the same Solstice as is on ProgArchives, rather it's a decidedly unique sounding doom metal group. They do have a strong British folk influence and a tendency towards ambitious and intricate songwriting, though.
Rejecting heaven, spurning the high ground, they stood in the way of demons and damnation... defending themselves alone.

Since you started Mark 11 Guldy, it would have been cool to let another forum member start Mark 12.

Very psychedelic and spacey doom metal consisting only of bass and drums with sparse vocals, all of the three fed through lots of electronic distortion effects.
Rejecting heaven, spurning the high ground, they stood in the way of demons and damnation... defending themselves alone.
