Symphonic textures with fusion undercurrents - or vice versa. Could be a candidate for symphonic, fusion or eclectic depending on point of view.

For those who prefer bandcamp:
Blending progressive rock and jazz fusion, former Aphelion keyboardist Alessandro Bertoni assembled a fusion all-star lineup for his solo debut: Brett Garsed, Virgil Donati and Ric Fierabracci – with Derek Sherinian producing... The result is a totally natural-sounding mix of progressive rock and jazz fusion where complex guitar riffs, powerful Hammond chords and intricate improvisations are interwoven seamlessly.
“Those who like excellently played instrumental rock with a jazz-rock edge get the total package here.” (Thomas Kohlruß, Babyblaue Seiten)
When Jazz and Rock and Metal come together the result can be a god-awful mess unless the band are completely on the money and this is completely ‘on it’ – brilliant
When you get the wild twiddling of such keyboard virtuosos as Derek Sherinian and Jordan Rudess and take it out of the mainstream prog they have been known for (specifically Dream Theater in both their cases), it has a distinctive jazz vibe to it. Add in some seriously good bass playing along the lines of Alberto Rigoni and you are nearly straying into pure jazz territory. To temper that we throw in Satch like guitars and classy drumming and you have formed a seriously good jazz/prog fusion in your crucible of rock and you don’t need to be in a smoky underground club to enjoy it! Not Symphonic imo, don't really see it in Eclectic either. Sounds like Jazz/Metal Fusion with lots of shredding. I think JR/F should have first dibs.
