Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet, but see here:   http://www.dgmlive.com/diaries.htm?diarist=3

"So, King Crimson is in motion. This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers.

The Seven-Headed Beast of Crim is in Go! mode."   Clap

SAAAWEEEEET!!!!!
3 drummers eh?LOL I'm taking a wild stab in the dark here, but this could prove to be the world's first prog stomp album. Either way, I am really looking forward to it. Wasn't that big on the last KC project. Too much vaseline and no real zing. Pleasant but mostly forgettable imo.

Nailed it...I would have added a pinch of `kind of bland and a bit dull' too.

Doesn't ruin the reputation, but...you know...

Great news!! I actually enjoyed the smooth grooves of a Scarcity of Miracles. It was a nice departure for KC.
A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!

An alternative read:

I'm not sure I understand why 3 drummers, but that is better than 3 guitarists!  I think, anyway....

So far that is the case Dean.........although it sounds like Tony Levin is likely involved as well.

Cool. I hope this won't be just a bunch of old guys embarrassing themselves on stage. And I hope this means the new studio album.

Prediction:
This (whatever comes out of this news) will be the best new thing of the decade by any of the classic 'big six' bands.  At the end of the year 2020 we'll look back and say so.

Really excited by this with a couple of caveats, not really sure about 3 drummers, I would have prefered a percussionist, seems like overkill, I hope Jakko's main input is vocal and not songwriting.
