Has anyone bought or plan to buy Rush Vapor Trails (Remixed)?  I listened to the original today, and find it an enjoyable album.  I listened to samples of this remix version, and it does sound a little clearer.  I am wondering about thoughts on this one.  It is easy to get burned out constantly re-buying the same albums over and over again.

The original sounds fine to me, so no.

It is funny about the complaints about the original recording.  People are saying it is unlistenable.  I am listening to it right now and enjoying it.

I've never had a problem with the original either.  But I am curious to listen to the remix to see if I notice any difference.

I have only listened to the samples.  Do you know of a place to stream the remixed version?

Spotify has The Studio Albums 1989-2007 on it; including Vapor Trails.  I assume that it is the remix version.

Amazing.  Everyone saying before how  this album was ruined by mastering and it was  too noisy and it needs remastering and  now.....well.....

I'll buy it when I go near a store that has it. A little preview sounded promising.

Amazon is selling the original mix of the CD for $4.99 and the new mix for $9.  There are some negative reviews from Rush faithful, but more positive reviews.  I like the original CD a lot, so I am undecided.

This... You're just getting all the people who didn't need it in the first place.

Vapor Trails Remixed streaming! Geddy's bass sounds warmer, incredibly...it's also more distinct, more audible on "One Little Victory." This sounds good!

The two mixes are on Spotify. The difference is completely amazing. It's much quieter, though obviously limited and competitively loud, but the mix is clearer with much more definition.
