That's a dbl groove record, can only be done on vinyl, can't do it on the plastic silver drink coasters...

Restoration is outstanding stuff also, yes it is an EP, 3 songs of earlier material. The Mountain for me stands tall against Restoration though. Affinity is a great album, a bit more accessible type songs than The Mountain...right now for me The Mountain Affinity Restorations Aquarius Visions |

Yeah, it's just random, depending on where the needle hits on the lead-in groove. I've heard of "horse race" records with multiple parallel grooves, so you get different race results depending on where the needle catches. The most famous double-grooved record is probably Monty Python's Matching Tie and Handkerchief.

Marillion~Brave has a dbl groove on Side IV. The 'happy' ending groove plays Made Again, the 'downer' ending groove plays The Great Escape.
There are two leadin spots so it depends where you cue in the tonearm and which groove gets played. |

This great album sounds incredibly good, a first German pressing in mint condition. I'm sure I won't need another copy of it

^ Nice! In the end it's the music itself that truly matters, but a good source really enhances my appreciation for it

^ Yep. My copy has a touch of cover wear, but the vinyl is great. Your copy looks super-clean!

Radio France is auctioning off their collection of about 8,000 records. You can check out what's going to be sold here.

Love the artwork on that Ponty album but I think his earlier ones are far better musically....especially Voyage and Ocean....

^ Jose - I recommend you try JLP's album from 1985 called 'Fables'. Just plain fantastic !! Any of his 70's (well, from Upon The Wings Of Music onwards, from what I have) is a great listen. Cosmic Messenger is my personal fave.
