I am floored at how amazing this issue sounds, I received in mail on Monday and spun it last night. The quality is impeccable, easily in my Top 10 best sounding vinyl albums. It's a 1/2 speed remaster, cut to 45RPM.....WOW

Received today.....Ha!!
Not as super high end sound as So, but it's still freaking amazing. The bass is out front but does not overwhelm the music as all. Also my LP1 has both sides with Side A labels ...

Hi everybody!
Back from a short vacation in London with some records! I visited quite a lot of shops, it was fun to dig through so many records!! Here's a video of what I found |

^ OUTSTANDING !!
That'll keep you busy for a while. The Marshall Tucker Band looks cool. Never seen that one. Or the very first record at the start. |

Thanks
The first album is the brand new Nemrud. It's just been released but I found it among second hand records!! It's a fantastic album if you like 70's inspired prog rock with a modern touch. It was great to dig in London!! I lived in Paris some years ago and it's just impossible to get records at those prices! Very happy about the Greenslade album, which is quite expensive most of the time here in France, Jethro Tull (even if they are reissues) and the other stuffs I'm discovering at the moment, BJH, FM, Tommy Bolin, etc etc

@ Anaon
I would love to go to another country and do some record shopping. Have fun with those albums, which, I will admit, I havent listened to most of those. Anyways, luckily here in the Twin Cities, there are plenty of record shops and I've gotten many albums so far, in great shape, for great prices. The problem is that I'm getting more and more into italian groups and I rarely ever see anything, if I do see something then they are expensive like seeing Area's Crac! for 35$! I usually have to go online to get try and get some deals. |

I just bought a new computer and I'm taking time to convert every CD back onto it. After that I'm going to go through all my vinyl and convert it now that I don't have a computer that half-works.

Showed up yesterday.....Not a brilliant pc of work (not that I was expecting that) but it is decent. Invention of Knowledge is really good for the first 15min, after that it winds down some weird road. Jon does sound good and essentially the music is TFK.
So far it's a 3 for me....

I've pushed this to a 4.....The last two tracks are excellent pcs! I have spun this a few times and really enjoy it now. Also my favorite record store in Tacoma has moved to a larger location.....I plan on doing some Labor Day record shopping this week!! Edited by Catcher10 - September 01 2016 at 11:51 |

Some good ones there...don't know about Johnny Denver! I'd be playing Horslips' "The Tain" incessantly if I were you ....a 70's classic IMHO. |
