My Gryphon is on Bell Records label, a strange label with pop history like Bay City Rollers and the Partridge Family LOL

^^  I noticed on Discogs that Bell released in '74 but Brain didn't release until '75.

^  The two colors and black splatter does look good. The one on top needed a little more white in the mix.

My original buy, still sounds fantastic after all these years. Have had no reason to buy a new issue....I think mine is a 1973 pressing.

^  For some reason Jose, I only picked up three Moody albums back then so there is definitely a gap in my collection when it comes to that band.

We all love music, yeah ??
We listen to music with our hearts and soul (and ears, duh) ??
We love art, sounds, colours..............
We love VINYL !!!! But first and foremost, we LOVE the music contained within.....

I would never bother to own a rare vinyl by a band I don't like.....so.......
I appreciate my Ash Ra Tempel vinyls as much as Kajagoogoo..........

I'll have to give mine another spin. I reviewed their second recently and I didn't move on to the next.

On a vinyl-related news, I finally bought a cleaning brush for my records. I was tired of the piece of cloth that seemed to spread dirt all over it Embarrassed

^  If I remember correctly, this SBE has some subtle, psychedelic (?) moments while still being heavy.
It may be my favorite of the three studio albums.

Saw Quiet Riot in '84 (I think), great live band they were a lot of fun. Slick Black Cadillac I remember was a great live song. Dear to my heart as my dad had a '64 Cadillac we used to drive around in, talk about a boat!! LOL

Of course I think we all agree. I grew up with records, 8-track tapes and cassettes. So yea it was always about the music, its all we had. I still have all my records, except for the several boxes (about 300 records) lost in house moves Cry, I have never sold or dumped any from my youth on purpose.

I get all the talk about resurgence of vinyl/records, but for me its not a resurgence...Its a life style and its how I listen to music, because its what I know.

Spin your Kajagoogoo, Michael Jackson, Prince, Beatles Dead, Donna Summer and Madonna rekkids..Its all good, there is truly goodness in them grooves Tongue.

^  I see those "scribbles" and they are very cool.
Long Distance Trip is a great album for sure but there's something about WFTF that I like just as much.
I don't want to sell Revelation & Mystery short either but it's been a long time since I've heard it. I'll try to get to it in the next few days.
