Heh Catcher 10....have an option to buy Gracious! and Mighty Baby on original vinyl from the local record shop by me..this kid always seems to find obscure prog and psych I want. How much should I pay for them...thinking a package deal if he'll go for it.

Vertigo, GRAB IT AT ANY COST !!!!
Well, a near mint copy is up for $1500 USF on Discogs
Other version go for around $20-$40

Mighty Baby is listed for around $200 for a near mint copy.

Yes, what JD says, if the Vertigo label...buy it!!! If it's the US version that would be on Capitol records with a different cover. All depends on condition, anything in the NM to VG+ buy them, if the store knows what they have they'll be priced around $40-$50 for the Capitol and as much as $200 for the Vertigo UK version.

I think Mighty Baby the original US and UK versions are both on the Head label, so either one probably has some good value....Depending on condition if those are under $100 buy them!!

I saw in Portland OR a US version for $175 on the wall...

I'd offer him cash for both at $125-150......although again depending on version he has and condition he might kick u out the store!! LOL.

Unless your never going to re-sell them and are only interested in original pressings I would be in the $200 range for my collection.

Condition is everything though if for my collection.

Arrived yesterday in the mailbox.....Very pumped for these two releases. I love Moanin', Side II is insane with The Drum Thunder Suite. Blakey is a beast!

And The Witch Doctor is an exercise in fat moods, cra-cra playing and a great duet with Jymie Merritt and Wayne Shorter on title track.

Nice!! Welcome to the thread...........I've never had good luck with picture discs regarding sound quality. Maybe the new ones are better than the ones from 80s. 
The packaging is really nice, I have not participated in RSD in a few years, nothing seems to interesting to me.

Picked up GG- 'Interview' and 'Three Friends' on original vinyl as well as VDGG -first US press' Least We Can Do Is Wave'...but the kid 'misplaced' my copy of 'Gracious' he was holding for me and has to look for it.....and The 'Mighty Baby' is an original UK on Head label and he wants $400. I told him I would think about it.

Ohhh SNAP!!! Pretty pricey.........It would have to be NM as well cover in NM with no seam splits or ring wear.
