I was reading Prog Rock magazine this morning and the album Where Business Meets Fashion from the band Schnauser was listed on a few of the writers Top 20 of 2013 lists, including number 1 on one of them. Anyhow, they are not included here at PA so I am suggesting them. Here is a link to their BandCamp page http://schnauser.bandcamp.com/
The comment on this page is "Welcome to the world of Schnauser - a place where Canterbury prog, 60s psych and melodic pop gently collide. "If you've ever found yourself wishing that, just once, a contemporary band would bowl along and shock the trews off of you with every unexpected chord change, and vindicate you with the cynical common sense of their bleakly witty worldview, Schnauser are your saviours." Cool stuff...do not know if they exactly fit in Canterbury, there is a bit of CARAVAN in here, but this is more Crossover-styled in my opinion,...they do deserve a chance.

I can suggest them to Crossover if that seems more appropriate. The Canterbury suggestion was mostly due to that Record Collector quote and that they definitely have some Caravan sound to them.

I think they deserve a place into Canterbury, since the melodies are very Caravan oriented IMO. The chord sequences and modal changes are totally into the Canterbury songwriting.

I don't think Canterbury would be a good fit for this outfit. Any "Caravan" type sound is fairly slight in my opinion.
