I must admit that the Prog Hits poll motivated me to do this other poll, but in fact I think that years ago I did something like this (not the same). It's about which degree of appreciation we have about the modern prog attempts of the big bands on those years.

I tried to take some "prog-tendence" pieces of those albums between 1986 - 1987, and these four ones are really stunning tracks for me.

I voted for a track from Big Generator (gasp).

I rather be buried in rotted onions.

But Sorrow if I must choose.

Sorrow, I guess, though I'm not much of a fan of any of this songs.

Sorrow has some great melodies drenched in a thick lugubrious atmosphere. How often can you use that word to describe a prog song? For that alone it gets my vote.

For me is Domino, but The Score is just almost at the same level, a stunning prog track. Sorrow is great too. The Yes pseudo prog songs from Big Generator are some stairs below but are good too.

Incomparable Pink Floyd !

Genesis - Domino: i coudn't enjoy it at all, though long ago i really tried to enjoy this quite pop side of it. Enjoyed Collins with a drum set, but Collins good voice wasn't enough for me to appreciate his last works in Genesis, which however fit perfectly for a Disco.

I know "Sorrow" is the best song, but I burned out on it. Maybe "Final Eyes"...but "The Score" grew on me after my initial dislike for it.

Domino by some margin. The track on ELPowell's album that might have garnered some votes is The Miracle.

Sorrow is good but Domino is better.  Don't like that Yes album at all.

I recently got the ELPowell album (yep, 25 years late LOL) and find it pretty lame to be honest.

Voted Domino.

Sorrow is the pick of the bunch with this lot.
Domino is fine but very 'danceable'.
The Score is O.K. (I used to like the E,L,Powell album but not much anymore)
Final Eyes (same deal as above with Big Generator)
