I generally don't like the powerful Opeth very much. The sound, musicianship and brutal vocals are just too powerful for me. The only exception is Morningrise, among their albums that include harsh vocals. I like Pale Communion very much. Lots of metal bands that I like tend to change their sound to make it smoother and more groovy in recent years, and Opeth is among the ones that has done it properly.
