Not sure if there are many Negativland fans around here, but I came across this recent live clip of the group playing their old 80s track "Yellow Black and Rectangular" on stage. On the album, it's a memorable if unremarkable 2 minute piece, but here they go off on a long improvisation that really does it for me.

More from The Doors, "The End" was excellent enough in the studio, but on stage at The Hollywood Bowl... mesmerising and unnerving are the words to describe it.

It's my favorite Doors album actually - there's something really perverse about all those sweet and sappy songs, with some of their weirdest songs (Soft Parade, Running Blue, Shaman's Blues) always lurking right around the corner. Looks like there are quite a few live clips from that period - thanks for adding the others.

About Los Endos, I like much better the live version from Hackett... I think it's the one on Tokyo Tapes (with flute, and perhaps sax too). Actually, I don't really like the original version so much... but this version I really enjoy a lot.
Have to admit the live version from Tokyo Tapes (1996) is quite good...
