Topic: Best Synth Solo In a Prog Song! Posted: September 23 2014 at 15:07
In a recent discussion about the origins of the Synthesizer, I started to think of some great synth solos and passages in Prog songs like Emerson's coda to ELP's Lucky Man. What are some of your favorite solos or stand out sections of Synths in a Prog song?

My favourite keyboard solos generally feature organ or piano, but a few came to mind: Greenslade - Catalan Yes - Revealing Science of God ELP - From the Beginning ELP - Trilogy Tarot Woman by Rainbow, although as above more an intro than a solo

Great list, particularly Catalan. Wish I'd thought of that first!
