What is that Slapp Happy album doing there - unless you are referring to the release of the original 1973 recording of Acnalbasac Noom being released. This was rejected by Virgin.

Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band - Doc at the Radar Station
Peter Hammill - A Black Box Zamla Mammaz Manna - Familjesprickor I usually vote Pekka Pohjola whenever I can, but Kätkävaaran lohikäärme is among his weaker albums I think.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

My 3:
The Present, the Aqsak Maboul & the Picchio dal Pozzo. Wish I could also have voted for the Art Zoyd, the Zamlas, the Frith & the Slapp Happy. Good year.
