Can anyone recommend radio stations (fm or digital), in the UK, which play progressive rock music?

For an eclectical 3 hours try The Alternative Alternative Show on Loughborough Campus radio, going out between 8pm and 11pm Thursdays during university term time - last show before Christmas on right now and they are playing Hugh Hopper this instant!

Right at the moment I'm stuck listening to www.LCR1350.ac.uk - but the stereo quality is excellent from where I'm sitting.

You do realise not a single one of those meets the original requirements?
HOWEVER - BBC6 Music (digital station) has a 3 hour show on sunday evenings (5-8) by the name of "The Freak Zone" (dreadful title, yes) that plays all sorts of eclectic and unusual music including a healthy dosage of prog. I'd say it's worth at least giving a try, Em. If you don't enjoy it then you'd better make do with online radio, I'm afraid. |

Give you a tip - discerning musicheads rarely listen to BBC Radio One nowadays and Radio 4 is predominately spoken word. |
