We received a request to consider the Argentina band Ubú for PA.  It appears that they have released two albums Onirofonia I and Onirofonia II.  It has a modern classical feel to it which leads me to believe this would fit into symphonic. Below is a link to their website from which the two albums can be downloaded.  No additional information was provided so if approved we will need to contact the artist Gabriel Cebrian.  The email address is also on the below link.

Thank you for your time and please let me know if I can be of any help.

GREAT BAND!!!!!!

I have no problem in creating an entry in Progfreak for the team to vote, but are you sure??????

This is pure Prog Folk with the Argentinean musical spirit present, I hear bandoneon's, tango hints, some Andean sounds and of course black music.

In Symphonic they would be just another band at the shade of Pablo el Enterrador, El Reloj, La Maquinade Hacer Pájaros, etc, but in Prog Folk they will keep their unique atmosphere and influences.

The bandc claims as their main influence the Classicals and the Afroamerican artists....Isn't this Folk by nature?

Let me know your decision, if you want I add them to Progfreak, but I would call Sean before.

Iván,  I have no problem deferring to your judgement here.  I have no familiarity with the musical references that you have listed.  Also, my grasp of the Spanish language is quite rudimentary, so in regards to reading the web page link, I could only make out some of the words.  Therefore I am more than happy to defer to your opinion that they would fit better in Prog Folk.

Thank you,

Scott
