Topic: Can/This Heat Poll Regarding Paper Posted: August 27 2008 at 04:46 |
OR Both are wonderful tracks, I think, though I slightly prefer Paper Hats by This Heat. Just slightly though. And yes I realize that there is no overarching theme behind this poll. it is nothing. Just a survey about two songs. Wonderful, eh?

Excellent poll!
Both tracks feature on brilliant albums, but Paper Hats gets my vote. Paper House is one of the lesser tracks on Tago Mago, but Paper Hats is one of the highlights of Deceit..

I really like both tracks but I vote for Paperhouse. Suzuki's vocals and Karoli's guitar are sublime as is Jaki Liebezeit's drumming.
|
Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Too bad more people aren't voting. I guess that perhaps not too many people have heard both of them. I hadn't heard of This Heat until about a month ago. Still, as I said, both are brilliant.

This Heat might be a bit fringe even for this site, and although Tago Mago is a krautrock classic I would still say that only a relatively small subset would have heard both songs. I've have both these albums but haven't listened to them enough to form a decent opinion, so I'll abstain from voting.

I haven't heard either so I'd have to vote for Paperlate from Genesis, but since we are avoiding Yes/Genesis polls then forget that I said that.

And yes, we, meaning I, am avoiding Yes/Genesis polls. Especially since I don't really like Yes that much.

I like Deceit (and this track) alot.
Paperhouse is pretty cool. But I think This Heat will win for me.
Surprising being I like Can more.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Stand alone I would take Paper Hats, but prefer 'Tago Mago' over 'Deceit'.
edit: for some reason I cannot vote.
