UK band The Violet Hour released their one and only album "Fire Sermon" back in 1991. A production that has been pretty hard to find a copy of in the last few years.

It's now scheduled to be reissued sometime later this year, exact date still unknown. Those interested can track progress at the website of Doris Brendel, who was the vocalist in the band and involved in the reissue process.

Just listened to the sample on the artist page . . . how in the world can this be considered 'Neo-Prog'? Prog Folk is much more fitting, I feel.

Classic case of added in somewhere or not at all, if memory serves me right ;-)

Oh, well. It's still going in the Prog Folk section of my shelf whenever I purchase it. Tongue

Can't wait to buy this thing when it comes out. Thank you so much for telling me about it, honestly. I think I've found a new favorite! Clap

That's what this place is all about really - helping more or less hardcore music fans discover even more music to love :-)
