Yes, fantastic cover, ends off that album fantastically.  And it took balls to do that cover on that album, and it paid off nicely.  Good post.

I've just started to listen to De La Soul's De La Soul is Dead (nearly 25 years after its release... Yeah, I took the time): some excellent tracks, but it confirms that I don't have the patience for a 60 minutes hip-hop LP.

More contemporary, I also listened to Anti-Pop Consortium's Arrythmia (only ten years late this time...): instant hit for me.
Even more contemporary, Ill Chemistry's first album (released last year), even if this duet explains being rather influenced by the hip-hop of late 80's/early 90's. Not bad, even if not all tracks are really strong.

Wonderful album man.

How about the album Labcabincalifornia by The Pharcyde? Check out this tasty little number:

I only recently got into Death Grips and only know Exmilitary, but this first track off it, is just insanely good:

Turn this baby up to 11 and watch your room become bigger.
“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”
