Did not see the game but damn, the score indicated a blow out.  Sort of pulling for the O's as I lived there many moons ago in the days of Eddie Murray and Earl Weaver.  Also, since the Pirates are a false hope...

O's scored 8 runs in the 8th inning off of the worst bullpen in the history of postseason bullpens. Honestly, at this point hoping that the O's sweep the series so I don't have to waste a vacation day on Monday to sit in cold and crappy weather to watch the Tigers play like crap like they have done for the last 112 games.

Sorry man,I'm really not trying to gloat. We just sucked for like 15 years and it's nice to see my team returning to form.My son is now 17 and a rabid O's fan,and he has never known a winning O's team till Showalter came on board. When I was growing up the Orioles were an outstanding team,so I'm glad Bryce can experience that.

Enjoy it.  I am just really disappointed because that loud slamming noise is the sound of the Tigers' World Series door slamming shut.  I suspect it might be another 30 years until they win the World Series again.

The sad part is that Soria, Chamberlain, and Nathan are our "improvement" on the bullpen that consisted of Veras, Valverde, Benoit, Coke and Albuquerque (both still here) who handed the ALCS to the Red Sox last year.

I was watching the ERAs of your guys coming out of the bullpen and you can add 2 or 3 of them up to match the ERA of one of our guys (regular season).

The Jays bullpen was bad this year while last year it was one of their strong points, go figure. Still the Tigers knew they had to improve the bullpen but didn't. I liked their trade of Fielder and picking up Davis with his speed and of course Price seemed like a huge addition at the time but...what about the bullpen?  I wouldn't count the Tigers out yet though but I can see why your frustrated Scott.

This is where we were as Red's fans two years ago right now. Had just handed it to the Giants by a score of 9-0 in game 2 and had a 2-0 lead in the series. Things were looking peachy. Well those darn Giants went on to win the World Series. Ouch

Going down to the game today, but not looking forward to it at all. The Lions are playing next door so traffic and parking are going to be a nightmare....and then there will be the game, where most likely at one point or another the Tigers' bullpen will have to make another appearance.

The Nationals blew it again with bad decisions by a coach who follow the stats instead of his instincts when comes to change a starting pitcher.

Congrats Jody!  Good luck the rest of the way.  Since the Tigers lost, I am glad that it ended yesterday.  I was pretty much through with them after Thursday and Friday's debacles and really did not want to have them get our hopes up again just to dash them by losing in the 4th or 5th game anyways.

Giants over Nats - on paper at least - seemed a long shot; that Nats team is loaded, but you can't manage by-the-numbers in the playoffs.  I guess what it came down to is Bochy's experience over William's loaded lineup.

Tigers never addressed the bullpen problems from last year - they keep fielding the most potent lineup in the league and a group of starters that is truly staggering, but that bullpen just hands games to opponents.  GO O'S!

The Royals are a Mike Scocia team, imagine what they could do with Scocia at the helm?  He's the small ball king - the only problem is that Angel's management brought in players who are the opposite of small ballers - Hamilton, Pujols and Freese.  I bet Scocia is gone in the offseason and a team like the A's (who need Melvin out) pick him up.

The O's look tough - if you told me Nellie Cruz could bash without the junk, I'd have laughed - he's proving everyone wrong.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Not happy that we are down three games but one thing I will say is that the Royals have absolutely no class. How they have handled themselves and acted towards the Orioles during this series is the epitome of poor sportsmanship.
