Court of the Crimson King, then Red, and then A Young Person's Guide to King Crimson.
Oh wait, none of those albums are listed. Never mind.

No vote here. I find it more interesting to read the posts than the exact numbers of each album.
However, Red is my favorite followed very closely by : Lizard, LTIA, TPTB, SABB.
ITCOTCK is in the end of my list but still a very good album.

I have to partly agree with Walter on this one (I still like Tool, tho). Alot of Tool songs sound like 80s Crimson, the most obvious being Indiscipline. Tool has even stated that KC is a major influence on them. I might as well post the Youtube link here to indiscipline if anyone is interested. Indiscipline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D76x0Vtb_Zc The Grudge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiR1hmpk-x4 If you listen, you should be able to find similarities. Of course, Tool had blended in alot more influences, but you can clearly find the King Crimson stuff.

The point of the poll was to figure out what everyone's favorite King Crimson album is besides Red and their debut. And I do have a pretty good reason: Red would get 90% of the votes, but when I omit Red and ItCotKC, I get more even results and a better idea of what people like by King Crimson besides those two albums. |

Oops. I beg your pardon. If you're putting it that way - Lizard for it absurdity, kaleidoscope guitar, and Mel Collins' horns and flute (and let's not forget the most infamous one-off in prog history, Gordon Haskell)>

Tzirmay's right, there's lots of goodies on Starless and Bible Black (which voted for). But every single KC 69-74 album is a gem, and I love them all more or less equally.
