...this Metabolismus album name is spelled wrongly. The German "ss" sometimes is written "ß" like "B". Correct album name would be:
Sprießwärtsdrall or, also readable would be: Spriesswärtsdrall and the tracklist has an odd numbering. Correctly, it would be: 1. Rabenloch (2:15) 2. Schnee Von Gestern (10:07) 3. Blinker (5:47) 4. Ku (3:18) 5. Walzstrom Aus Partikeln (3:33) 6. Mehr Genuß Durch Stereo (3:51) 7. Grünenberg (3:42) 8. Raumdialog (1:21) 9. A Flower Is a Lovesome Thing (5:16) 10. Sprießwärtsdrall (3:08) |

Hi,
in the entry for the band the brainwash machine, the band's website was input wrongly. It is missing a colon for it to work. currently: http//thebrainwashmachine.com/ should be: http://thebrainwashmachine.com/ Thank you |

I suppose this didn't happen in New Zealand or Canada or any of the several places it came out earlier?

The reason it was 1977 was because it was released on Jan 2nd 1977. I know I was there waiting for it's release and promptly bought it first day of shops open in 1977.

Maybe it means it was recorded in 1976 but released the next year. |

Thanks for some hard proof, guys If the album was indeed released in 1976 (thirteen different pressings listed in Discogs), I find it hard to find any justification for a later date at a site that intends to be you-know-what.
But of course an Errors & Omissions SC has the last word. I admit there is always a possibility that the records were pressed with a 76 release in mind, but it was pushed back a week. No sense in altering the sleeve in such a case. But there's no proof of anything of that kind happening. It did actually happen with Camel's Total Pressure DVD, it says 2006 on the sleeve but was pushed back to early 2007.
