I really love Have a cigar from Wish you were here, for me one of better Floyd songs, Gilmour guitar rocks on this song.

Also Summer 68 from AHM, where you can see all R.Wright talent but, he was always overshadowed by Waters and Gilmour, there was also similar situation in Yes with Rick Wakeman.

Also Alans Psychedelic Breakfast is for me a little masterpiece, song which never caught too much attention.

Another one: The studio version of Careful with That Axe, Eugene, which is unjustly overshadowed by the live versions.

Not unjustly by any means. Tongue

Seconded! That's the best song on the whole "Atom heart mother"-album.

Absolutely.
With hindsight it's also interesting to note how much of their future sounds and musical ideas are already in place here.

Not being a HARDCORE Pink Floyd fan, I can say I'm terribly dissapointed at "A Saucerful Of Secrets"... ALL those songs had a great potential but musically they just sound a bit dull... ._. So I won't call any of them underrated, although "Remember A Day" might come close to it. I'm also not a fan of aMLoR, "Dogs of War" sucks imo, and I never checked out "Final Cut" because I honestly hated "The Division Bell"

With that being said...:
1. The Trial - seriously brilliant song, and it's totally overlooked;
2. Fearless - yep,I think it's great;
3. Atom Heart Mother - Very original, although they FRIGGIN OVEREXTENDED IT... if it was like 15 minutes long it would be awesome:
4. Any Colour You Like - great instrumental imho;
5. Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk - let the flames begin;

I would say that the soundtracks they did for the movies More and Obscured by Clouds are underrated because they didn't get as much attention as Dark Side or The Wall but, to me, those soundtracks are some of the best work Floyd ever did

AHM may be the most intelligent epic (notice that I said most intelligent epic, not best epic) put out by anybody who isn't named Mike Oldfield.

Oh yes and this:

But it's only underrated because it's unreleased.

What do you mean? Enlighten me please.

I've always considered the song some sort of ode to nuclear power OR to life itself, dunno why... It sounds very mystical yet very raw to me.

I was just about to say Embryo, but in all fairness it has never been released outside the BBC sessions and other bootleg recordings. Brilliant track - where the Floyd comes close to symphonic kraut.

One of my favorite songs which never gets any notice is Biding my time from the Relics record. Floyd meets New Orleans old school jazz orchestra.
