I like BG and prefer it to 90125, especially side 2. "I'm Running" is one of the best songs of the Rabin era, along with "I am waiting" from "Talk".

Oh I love Broadsword from start to finish and I think thats a great CD that gets an unfair rap |
.......BROADSWORD is my favorite 5 star TULL album
About BIG GENERATOR, i reviewed it and gave 3 stars. i am sure this album would have gottten a better rating had Roger dean designed the cover!!
After coming with some of the most beautiful covers in the 70s, t hey were trying really hard to get the ugliest design possible in the 80s. i believe these covers didn't help to get love from the old fans as much as the music.
That's not bad; just a different band!

I personally enjoy Yes' pop albums, including Big Generator. It's nowhere near as good as their progressive albums, of course, but I think it has gotten a bad rap here on the Archives

I believe that if any other band besides Yes had of released this CD in question we would all be saying how good it is , not great but good and solid |
I'll second that opinion.

I've always liked 90125; but, Talk has been gaining momentum lately. An absolutely brilliant disc.

I love about half of Talk. The Calling, Real Love and Endless Dream are all awesome. The rest of the disc is decent, but nothing special. I've always like 90125 as well. BG I saw as something of a disappointment after 90125, but the album has grown on me. I'm Running, Final Eyes, and Shoot High are all good songs. And I don't think the album is as bad as some say it is.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Do you mean as opposed to being bad? Because, so far in the poll, it's a good, solid album. | In this poll so far maybe ... but read some of the reviews if you have I think you will find Big Generator gets a bit of a shabby deal on average
