"An Overly Dramatic Title for a Not So Dramatic Turn of Events"

I'm somewhat interested in it. That's all I'll say for now.

I hope Hugh will do the cover.

I am pretty sure this is a DT meats 10cc afair, I would bet my left arm on that, they have listend to alot of Sheet Music and How Dare You, and learnd from 10cc's exentric satire and silly humor

Was glad to hear, not sure how anyone could've liked that thing...it was horrid!
Oh and the song titles are horrid as well.

I will be cautiously optimistic thanks to their new drummer, but my hopes are not very high for this album LOL

I love how everyone has such extreme opinions about all this crap.

What terrible fake artwork! What hideous song titles!

Then you have the DT fanboys which are what they always are.

It's all so ridiculous.

My only real hope is that DT got a cover artist that actually knows how to use Photoshop, not just some dude who really likes likes contrast and whose only book is Symbolism and You: A Modern Artist's Guide to Being Deep.

This year is the perfect storm of progressive rock fan melodrama. New Yes album has certain unnamed forum members going around bawwing about Jon Anderson not being there in every other thread, everyone else is crying because Opeth grew out of being repetitive and instead will focus on being mediocre, and Steven Wilson is still getting sh*t for Fear of a Blank Planet.

You upset, prog fans?

Me too. I don't believe they'll be able to deliver something much better than BC&SL, but I hope they deliver a pretty good album.

I understand that Mike Mangini would be drumming for DT. And you may be aware that he played with the thrash metal band Annihilator. So, he is not less metal than Portnoy !

Meh. I won't judge the quality of the album based on titles or art, but I just don't like the titles.LOL

well you're only fueling the fire when the melodrama is affecting you enough to type a big post about it.

I for one think everything that's happening or soon to happen is awesome, whether it'll be great or not

The album already has 2 ratings here on PA, both are 5 stars... wut?

Also, the main bio for DT hasn't been updated since Train of Though came out.

I noticed that, I think that has been the only bio the band has had on PA, so since 2004 I guess. I think it's time for an update?

I don't like the album cover. It looks like a mainstream rock album.
