Review by Windhawk

3 stars The electric violin is not an instrument that gets showcased too often on instrument-based showcase releases. But Cyndee Lee Rule decided to do something about that back in 2005.

On these 11 tracks; with some cover tunes but mostly original tracks, she takes the listener on a musical trip that is quite extraordinary.

From warm and gentle violin playing to cold, barren and mellow soundscapes; from harsh and brutal psychedelic attacks to floating space journeys. It's all there - and then some.

Most will find this release to be varied in quality; but anyone into violins in general and electric violins especially should buy this one. I can promise violin fans an original journey.

Others who should check this one out are fans of space music and fans of psychedelic music, as both groups should find material of interest here.
