Oh Lions...trying to make Cleveland feel better about itself eh?
No no...that was worse. But boy what a way to lose. Hell of a comeback by the cheese.

That loss and I just found out that Scott Weiland died. Sad, horrible day.

A very Giants-esque game from Detroit:
Build a good, surprising lead, fail to "put it away", other team comes back, too late an effort from your team then, last second loss. I know the feeling too well That was ridic though, really though detroit had it, especially after the last score. The crazy thing is in my gut I saw that catch coming, Iwas like "That guy is in front of ALL the Lions. No no, they'll swarm it, or one will jump in front...WHAT!?!?!?" I don't know how that happens, when all the defenders congregate but none get in front of the receiver. Helluva game

That was your typical unique Lions' loss. They always find new ways to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

That game is a good example of why W-L record really has little to do with a teams talent level.

The giants are terrible. Congrats to the Redskins on the division win.

Yup G Men yet again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
It went largely how I expected: The Jets D line completely owned our O line, and overall the defense smothered us BUT I was surprised at the pressure we got. JPP was pushing the pocket all game, and we got decent pressure from a few players. The return TD and forced fumble gave us enough of a cushion to feel OK, and Eli really hit some big passes. Still though, we can thanks a lot of Jets penalties for helping us and oh that 4th down attempt up 10.... The Jets may have gone down the field and scored 2 TDs anyway to win it outright, it wouldn't have surprised me, but I can't believe we gave em an easy ticket to OT. Pathetic. Well, it was a good run Coughlin, I'll miss you. Just like how I miss the playoffs!

I honestly believe Graham going down last week was the best thing for that offense, as bad as that sounds. Wilson, Baldwin and Rawls are going off!

One win, against a team that has a good record but is basically built 100% off one player. Back? Relax a tad I'm glad to see the Pats are such jerks they can't even help me when needed. Currently being hammered by Philly. Oi....

They look a heck of a lot better than most NFC teams though. The Packers are reeling and the NFC East is notably awful. |

Can't disagree with any of that, just better than most NFC teams is a low bar As for the East yeah this is pathetic. Gotta love how things change, all those years ago (and it does seem like a lifetime) when the NFC east was a top division, and the NFC was stacked with teams, while the AFC was pretty much just NE and Indy every year. That's the NFL I reckon. That said, Arizona continues to impress but Carolina is really something else. I was hesitant on Cam, but saw potential, years ago but can't deny now he's really become the real deal.

And it's been since 2009 since a team other than Denver or NE has taken the top AFC seed. I wonder if the Bengals have it in them to nab it this year. They control their own destiny at this point, and that game in Denver in Week 16 is crucial. Tbh, I would take Arizona over Carolina. Carolina has had the fortune of playing the AFC South, the NFC East, and they reside in the NFC South. But to their credit, they have found ways to take care of business no matter the opponent. But Arizona is more-rounded, and I think more likely to win in a playoff setting. |

I'm not sure you ever went anywhere, but this is why I can't take Minnesota seriously.

Add me to the bandwagon for Arizona. I just think they are the best team (from top to bottom) in NFC this year. That doe3sn't mean the panthers can't go 16-0 of course...and Cam has grown nicely and should keep them relevant for quite some time.

So in the AFC we got 3 clear division winners, a toss up between the Texans & Colts in the South then the Jets, Steelers, Chiefs, & Bills scrapping for the wildcards.
I'll go for Denver, Pats, Bengals, Houston, Chiefs, Jets. In the NFC we've got Carolina & Arizona as clear winners. Vikings & Packers in a toss up & who the hell knows in the Least. Seahawks, Bucs & Falcons battling for 1 Wild Card. I'll go for Carolina, Arizona, Packers, Eagles, Vikings, Seahawks. |

I really wish they would stop scheduling NFC East games for prime time, because they're just the worst games, usually. I don't even dislike any of the teams in the division (other than the Cowboys, screw them), but man, it's just SO BAD!

Yes, the NFC least is pretty excruciating.
I guess I'm happy with the results and that the Giants are still in the hunt.
