^ Thanks, Mayer, but according to this logic many bands with musicians of different origins might be reclassified as multinational.
We read on EYSEBERG page: "Eyesberg were found in Frankfurt circa 1980 by a team of five musicians, Georg Alfter, Michael Buchner, Norbert Podien, Thomas Klarmann and English traveler Malcolm Shuttleworth, who settled down in Germany, after playing music in Israel". In my opinion that's enough to consider them a German band. Otherwise, for instance, LUCIFER'S FRIEND fronted by islander John Lawton is also a multi-national project. I don't like such global revision. Please let me know if you don't agree in case of EYSEBERG, then I'll contact Neo Team and ask them to decide.

The release date of "Looking Thru" by Passport is given as 1974 in the entry for the album. In the introductory notes for Passport the release date is correctly given as 1973 (which is the release date listed on Passport's homepage). Edited by BaldFriede - December 20 2020 at 09:53 |

Pretty sure this album should be listed as 1974 and not 1973??? I can't find any indication anywhere of it being released in 1973; even the release information on this page says it was first released in 1974.

Amos Hart here, directed to this thread by Mayer More ![]() Recent/Accurate Bio: Mystical Jazz-fusion band SILENT TEMPLE hails the great muses from Portland, Oregon. Directed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Amos Hart, Silent Temple bows to a plethora of styles in their quest to enter the sacred realm at the heart of the ancient forest. Full drum kit and 5-string bass guitar are stones laid for heavy metal bombasm as well as funky rhythm & blues grooves. An orchestra of vintage keyboard sounds explore the harmonic complexity and movement of classical music and jazz. Meanwhile, electric and acoustic guitars allude to the aesthetics of classic rock and folk music. Before plague swept the land in early 2020, Silent Temple had been successfully supporting a vibrant underground music scene together with classic rocker Rossi and her band Ten Spiders, and psychedelic folk star Natty Isabell and her band Flying Caravan. Through this collaboration, Natty and Rossi joined Silent Temple as vocalists, opening the mystic portal wide open as never before. Joined by the fine arts of Owen Kelley on guitar, the tight, dynamic grooves of Harrison Games on drums, and the furious finesse of Mike Ewers on bass, Silent Temple recently recorded and released their fourth album, Marvelers of Creation, a double album of architectural soul fantasies. Though currently operating in Portland, Silent Temple began in Ames, IA in 2013 with the release of “Ruins”, a neo-folk metal solo album by a young Hart. Amos has played the piano since before he can remember. Upon discovering the early 90’s prog/power metal scene (Gamma Ray, Symphony X, Rhapsody of Fire), and the progressive folk rock of the early 70’s (Pearls Before Swine, Yes, Malicorne, Kansas), he was imbued with a mission to make epic music with a full rocking band. This he did, releasing a second full-length forest dreamscape “Place of the Forgotten”. A few years later at music school in Chicago, Hart recruited Bassist Mike Ewers to the fairy legion. 2018 saw the birth of Silent Temple’s live capacity as a progressive folk-rock outfit, playing various bars and art venues around the Chicago area. Most notably, the band had the honor of opening for Drag-City’s “Faun Fables” in Milwaukee. Silent Temple’s music of these times was captured at Honey Jam Records in Chicago with the album “Where the Waters Run Clear”. Months after, the muses called Amos and Mike on a quest to pursue their dreams and musical ambitions out west. Blessed be to the Sacred Woodlands! ^ Thanks, I have to think a liitle before contacting Crossover Team for their approval of the changes.
Now I have doubts regarding all your points. 1. New bio is taken from new website. In my opinion it's too romantic (for the lack of a better word) for PA. I'd prefer factual updates for the current bio, without blessings, mystic portals and so on. ![]() 2. New website has less music for streaming (buying) than the band's bandcamp page, while new website doesn't have a link to bandcamp. Is new site better for promoting the band? 3. Suggested videos were not filmed more or less profesionally. I can add them without asking the genre team, but does the band wants to be presented this way?

NotAProghead thank you for your critique/direction.
I admit I am quite inoperative when refraining from romanticism, as it is my nature. Factual information of the band's biography was in fact given more accurately than the existing one, and I have no qualms with the bio being edited to exclude the poetry as desired by you and the PA team. The new website exists as more of an Electronic Press Kit (The bandcamp links are the album titles under the Discography section), whereas the Bandcamp page is of course where the music can be streamed and downloaded in totality. I encourage you to choose which is more suitable to this site's purposes. For the suggested videos: We are significantly honored being represented by the cameras of the people. While the digital quality/camerawork is not ideal, we are very proud of our performances and the fact that people recognized their film worthiness. I dream of and strive toward the day when we can afford professional videography. However we are young people living in the Empire of the USA. Right now putting food on the table, paying rent to the "lords of the land", keeping our communities safe and our instruments in good repair is an extremely and often overbearingly consuming effort. A grassroots presentation is quite appropriate given the majority of our stages have been street corners, house parties and forest pathways. Having ProgArchives present our music to the world is very important to us who play Progressive rock in a country and culture that this wonderful tradition is largely ignored in. I greatly appreciate you working with us on this. Please let me know if you have any other questions/requirements of us. Many thanks! Edited by DragonHartV487 - December 24 2020 at 01:08 |

^ Thanks, Amos, I've changed the website link and added videos.
As for the bio, we have Admins' request to make changes only by original writer (or, in case of his/her absence on PA, the genre team) approval. So now I left current bio, PA visitors can read new one on the band's website. If you'd like to update the bio on PA page, let's keep it dry - no poetry, no romanticism (no "kitchen prose and gutter rhymes" either), only "facts and figures". Hope you have at least one down to earth member of the band who can operate in pure practical way. ![]() In my turn, I'll help to edit updated text before presenting it to

Thank you for those additions. One of our more managerial minded members helped me out with a straightforward, strictly facts version of the bio, read below:
SILENT TEMPLE is a Progressive Rock band from Portland, Oregon. Directed by multi-instrumentalist and composer Amos Hart, Silent Temple blends folk music with a plethora of styles from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal to Soul-Jazz. Silent Temple began in Ames, IA in 2013 with the release of “Ruins”, a neo-folk metal solo album by a young Hart, produced by Caleb Kuennen of Stay Anchored Audio. Amos has played the piano since before he can remember, but upon discovering the early 90’s prog/power metal scene (Gamma Ray, Symphony X, Rhapsody of Fire), and the progressive folk rock of the early 70’s (Pearls Before Swine, Yes, Malicorne, Kansas), he was inspired to make epic music with a full rocking band. In 2015 he created his second full-length release “Place of the Forgotten” featuring members of Chicago Folk-Metal band Eikthyrnir, and a few years later at music school in Chicago, Hart recruited bassist Mike Ewers.
2018 saw the birth of Silent Temple’s live capacity as a progressive folk-rock outfit, playing various bars and art venues around the Chicago area. Most notably, the band had the honor of opening for Drag-City’s Faun Fables in Milwaukee. Honey Jam Records in Chicago captured the music of this time with the album “Where the Waters Run Clear”.
Months after, Amos and Mike acted on their dreams and musical ambitions out west. They landed in Portland, Oregon. Before COVID hit, Silent Temple had been successfully helping build a vibrant underground music scene together with classic rocker Rossi and her band Ten Spiders, and psychedelic folk star Natty Isabell and her band Flying Caravan. With the addition of these songstresses, choral style three part harmonies have taken Silent Temple’s sound to a whole new level.
Joined also by Owen Kelley on guitar, Harrison Games on drums, and Mike Ewers on bass, Silent Temple recently recorded and released their fourth album, “Marvelers of Creation”, a double album.
Silent Temple now composes, practices, rehearses, and waits for opportunities to present their music, live and on record. The story continues with music, live videos, and more @ treetemplemusic.com
I would also be grateful if the "Buy Silent Temple Music" section of the page could include this address: https://silenttemple.bandcamp.com/merch

^ Thanks, Amos, I'll compare old and new bios and then contact Crossover Team.
Unfortunately we can't manage "Buy <artist name> Music" section. In former times it showed items available on eBay and Amazon, now it shows nothing, even on the pages of such prolific bands like Jethro Tull. Sorry, it's out of our control. I would risk to recommend you to place big "Buy our music" button on the front page of the band's website. Edited by NotAProghead - December 24 2020 at 15:23 |

Amos, I've read both current and new bios. Looks like there is no sense to combine them, new bio has to replace the old one.
I suggest to make a final version of a new bio and then I'll present it to the Genre team. Please look at slightly edited text and let me know whether you agree with changes: ============================================================== SILENT TEMPLE is a Progressive Rock band from Portland, Oregon. music, live and on record. The story continues… ============================================================== Notes. 1. Only a formality - some styles begin with capital letters (Classic Rock to Heavy Metal to Soul-Jazz), while others (prog/power metal) - with lowercase letters. This needs to be consistent. I prefer lowercase, but it's up to you to decide. 2. “Ruins”, a neo-folk metal solo album by a young Hart, - I've added producer's name to the album page, I think no need to mention him in the bio. 3. In 2015 he created his (His or the band’s?) second full-length release “Place of the Forgotten”... - The album released under Silent Temple name, "his" is a bit confusing. I propose to replace "his" with "the band's". 4. SILENT TEMPLE - What is recent now pretty soon becomes old. It would be better to point out the year. 5. The story continues… - The area with the bio text is not intended for links. I propose to leave only "The story continues…" And finally, in my opinion it probably (I'm not sure) makes sense to include this part of the old bio in new one: "SILENT TEMPLE's music creates a sound that includes a vast array of influences, both Prog and otherwise, with an emphasis on acoustic atmospheres. HART's piano work is featured throughout the music. The nature of the project is very eclectic - What do you think?
