Hawkwind is cooler, but in this case I have to admit I'm more of a Renaissance man.
Scheherazade.

Renaissance, Scheherazade and Other Stories.

When he rides, my fears subside. For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night.

Long time between drinks with Hawkwind. I was never a huge fan but I was and am of Michael Moorcock so I always wanted to like Hawkwind but but but they just didn't quite hit the spot. Listening again now and well, they have aged well. Then again so have Renaissance though I'm not sure about the vocals and I wonder why I'd rather listen to this than e.g. Celeste's glorious Principe di un Giorno. Then again I'm thrououghly enjoying the so called epic. Hard one but PtooeyFart it is.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I'd go with Scheherazade on this one, although the Hawkwind album rules too

Like the Hawkwind album a lot, but Scheherazade is simply gorgeous.
