This is one ugly game.

Neither team looks good, at least offensively.  Texans have a pretty stout defense at least.

I'm so damn nervous right now, even knowing what the outcome will be.

Too many inexplicable drops already. I count at least 4 that should've been caught. Meanwhile, Seattle has got a third stringer making a one-hand grab for a TD.

It looks like one of those Lions games where the refs ignore Seattle penalties. Blocks to the back, face masks, etc.

^I'd be more upset at that if the Lions actually wanted to win.  They look like garbage.

^ Yes...that was some poor performance by the lions. Game was definitely not out of hand come the 4th quarter, but they just couldn't make any plays.

Detroit definitely overachieved this season, so that might be a positive?

I think that the Lions gave up more yards rushing in this one game than their offense was able to rush for all season...if you take away Zac Zenner's last two 1st halves.  No surprises.  Officiating was horrible, but it didn't really make a difference.  Telling stat of the game:  Lions are 4 and 24 on the West Coast since 1982.  They can't win on the road and they definitely can't win outdoors.

I just saw way more heart in the Seahawks than I did with anybody on the Lions NOT named Stafford.  He did his job, but that was about it.  I do hope Zenner gets the RB1 spot for next year, because that dude earned a lot of respect these last three games.  He's a baller, for sure.

Missed the Oakland/Houston game and I am not sad about that. I figure it'd be ugly and terrible and seems by all accounts that's what it was. Not quite sure how Houston snuck in, but they have and have made it past game one...though really a damn shame we didn't get to see em square off against Carr.

Sorry Lions fans I was rooting for ya.

Hoping Miami wins tomm and of course, go Giants. Rough up Rodgers.

The Texans' defense looked really good (even without JJ Watt), and you can blame a lot on the Raiders' offense, but their defense is what sucked specifically. They made Osweiler look like an actual NFL quarterback.

Steelers handled the Dolphins reasonably well, although without the turnovers it could have been closer.  Anyway we move on to KC, should be a good one.

Halfway rooting for the Giants against the Packers to see that 3rd match up against the Cowboys, since they have been the only team to defeat them this year.  However, the Pack may give them a run also.

The games on Saturday were boring, but not unexpected.  Texans D was impressive, even though against a 1rst time starting QB.  Hawks and Falcons should be a good bird fight next week!

So far so good. That defense is sick. Pressure on every snap it feels like, 3 sacks already, coverage tight. Jerry Reese has taken alot of flak but he's gotta get credit for his choices. One offseason this defense went from not sure they can stop a college team to top 5 I'd say. Shame our WRs have become allergic to TDs :'(

Who thought EVERY game this weekend would end up being blowouts.  Certainly not Giants/Packers.
