Pulling for the Jags though.

Well, Bortles and the Jags were close, but they let up too much on offense in the second half.  When are these other teams going to learn that you can't let up for a second against Brady and Belichick???

Pats made adjustments on O and D.

^ Yeah, I don't think the jags let up, I just think the jags were shut down. When it mattered most the pats D stepped up, which is pretty much the Belichick MO.

Shame the Vikings forgot to arrive in Philly today.

Go Pats!

They totally let up in the second half. Nothing but running plays that were shut down, which tired their defense out.  Kind of like the Super Bowl last year, to a lesser extent.

As for my giants...Pat Shurmur as head coaxh is an interesting move. I won't overreact too much to his browns head coaching record, it is the browns afterall, but idk...going to be hopeful but have low expectations. I am glad they went with an offensive coach assuming they are going to draft Eli's successor either this year or next.

Well it's game day. Obviously rooting for the patriots. Philly might have the horses up front to disrupt Brady enough...but I just don't know how I can realistically pick against the pats. Which Nick Foles will show up? Can the rest of philly's D keep up? How many prop bets is too many?

Pats over Eagles - 32 to 28

The Pats should be at the end of their run.

EAGLES over Pats - 31 to 17

No matter how this ends up, Nick Foles has played out of his mind tonight. Clap

Shame the eagles won, but so it goes. Pretty entertaining game, shocking how both offenses just went up and down the field like they did.

Yeah, most yardage combined for single game ever. Definitely entertaining.

Great game. I live just outside Philly and I hope the celebration doesn't last too long. But yeah, it was fun to watch and a real nail biter until the very end. Of course I'm happy about the outcome. :)

Definitely a fun game to watch. Only one punt in the entire game

Entertaining it was, congrats to the Eagles.

Where O' Where has all the defense gone :)   And what was up with Butler not playing for the Pats?!?!?

Shockingly badly played defense by both teams. I'm not a fan of these kinds of shootouts, gets boring.

I thought that it was a fun game to watch, but there was definitely more defense in the previous weeks Pro Bowl than there was in the Super Bowl.

This is a good question. How much worse could he have been out there? I mean, it's hard to second guess Belichek but really now...put him in out there for a series, if the eagles score in two minutes instead of four, big woop. You can always bench him again.

Yeah. Despite my tongue in cheek response to ol' Nogbad above, it was an entertaining game, and the back and forth nature was enjoyable, but I wouldn't put it in my top 10 of superbowls ever played. Needed a bit less oopsies and a bit more production from one side of the ball. Clearly better than some blowouts we've seen, but that's a low bar to compare it to.

Still...aside from the outcome 'twasn't a bad way to spend the evening.
