He is a treasure - a prickly one to be sure, but a real treasure.

When he can longer do that thing with his eyes it'll be time to retire.  Until then....

I just picked up issue 6 from ebay, so now I have them all (Prog Geeeeeeek!)
Agree with some of the earlier posters though, as much as I love the magazine I wish they would dedicate issues to other great influential groups from the past. They are getting repetitive with nearly all on either Rush, Floyd, Yes, Porcupine Tree or Tull.
Haven't seen one dedicated to the genius that is Devin Townsend yet either. I know his story and have been a fan since he sang for Vai's Sex & Religion album, but I think some people still see him as the singer of ultra heavy 'Strapping Young Lad' and miss out on some of the best music from recent times.
Prog mag is worth every penny though when it introduces you to new bands. 'Sound of Contact' released the best Prog album for a looong time IMO. It is fresh, has it's own sound, catchy yet complex, and 'Progresses Prog'.
Anyway, top Mag!!

The covers always look so jumbled. They should slim down all the text usage and make it seem more appealing.

DT has been included several times.  More than Floyd in the last few years, in fact.  It's been a few years since there was a Floyd cover.  But yeah, too much Rush, Yes, Hackett, & Tull.  Not enough of all those other great bands.

You'll have to smoke some of that evil stuff so you can see double like the original cover!

Hi,

Just saw one of these at Borders and it was ... Pink Floyd! Another one!

Hmmmm ..... we need more pictures! I have yet to see the ones with Marillion and Camel and would have gladly snapped them up! But this area, is too stupid, uneducated and top ten oriented, so we probably will never see those here.
