Dutch band from Amsterdam
http://www.myspace.com/circusparanoia Interesting sound, though needs some more polishing and perhaps better vocals, but I digress... Their Myspace bio: Circus Paranoia was formed in 2008 by Imre van Son and Cesar Vinken. This duo from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, uses a great scale of genres in its music, ranging from Progressive Rock to Funk, Indie and Jazz. In 2009 Circus Paranoia released their double album Defined Skies. Defined Skies is an ambitious rock opera about a young astrobiologist named Charlie, who struggles with love and schizophrenia. On the album Cesar and Imre play almost all instruments themselves. Defined Skies is also completely self-produced and self-recorded. On this very moment, Circus Paranoia is working on their second Album... http://www.circusparanoia.nl/ |

WOW!
We've just found ourselves by googling. Thanks for the special attention on progarchives. So our sound needs more 'pollishing', would you be able to explain what you mean with pollishing and perhaps how we could achieve it? We're working on our voices, so we hope it will be better in our next album. Greetings from Circus Paranoia |

Right time, right place. I like rock operas, so this sounds like an album that I am going to have to check out. |

BTW, the biography was meant to be slightly silly. I mean, what band would make a rock opera about an schizophrenic astrobiologist!? But I'm afraid most people miss that point :P
With some more band history we'll soon have an excuse to rewrite our biography
Anyway, the next album is going to be great! (but without schizophrenic astrobiologists)
