Straight up black and strong.  Nothing added.  Does that mean "regular?"

Peets is the best tasting bean I've found.

The people I work with all like girly-man coffee, meaning that flavored stuff (French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Rose Petal - I'm making this one up, Butterscotch Cookie - no I'm not making that one up, etc.)  They probably drink Zima and fruit-flavored beer too.  Tongue

To answer your question, Jim, I think of regular coffee as just that, the unflavored, unlatted, uncapuccinoed stuff.

I like girly-man coffee myself (and no Zima or "fruit beer" can be found in my fridge).  Incidentally, the most popular creamer among the enlisted men on one of my submarine trips was the hazelnut creamer.  I invite you to call those guys girly-men.  Wink

Cappuccino, wet. But it is split pretty well with regular coffee or London Fog (or Earl Grey Latte according to chairman Starbuck).

Mmmmmm, coffee....

I drink it black mostly. At home, I prefer to grind the beans myself and use a Senseo one-cup maker, using an adapter to brew my own coffee instead of having to buy their more expensive pods.
I also use a French press if I feel like dealing with all the extra work. LOL
Have a couple of stove top aluminum espresso pots (small and large), an espresso/cappuccino maker, a 12-cup Mr. Coffee, and I also use instant that I mix with powdered creamer. LOL
But I mostly stick to the Senseo for a quick, easy cup.

I'll take coffee of almost any kind, except flavors. I do not like flavored coffee at all. Closest I get is the rare cafe mocha when it's cold and I want more caffeine than a hot chocolate offers. Big smile

Plain ole black coffee, straight up.

Except sometimes if I go to a Vietnamese place I'll get an iced milk coffee (a serving of espresso + about a finger of condensed milk + stirred up and poured over ice = BLISS).

BRUTAL.
