Just realized how big a missed opportunity it represents that the world never saw a collaboration between Roky Erickson and Sun Ra. If only they got Claude Vorilhon and Dwight York into the project too, we'd have had a veritable alien contactee supergroup then. (wasn't Gram Parsons into that stuff too at some point?)
