TOP 20 Genesis Songs - #17

If you're a newcomer - in each thread we're voting for the greatest GENESIS songs (following the method agreed upon here.)

Every participant names three songs in order of preference:
First song = 4.5 points
Second song = 3 points
Third song = 2 points
After a couple of days I add up your "points" and announce the winning song for a current spot.
Then we move on and vote for the next spot. All points are reset.
Our goal is to come up with 20 songs so it might take some time.

At last, all albums recorded between 1970 and 1976 charted on our list at least once. I'm curious what will happen in this poll, are we going to see other albums scoring? Or maybe it's time to revisit more obscure Classic Era songs and give them some due? This could very well go in many directions, so I'll make sure to keep this one open until we have a convincing numbers of votes Smile

Voting is closed.
No. 17 song is Duke's Travels

01. Duke's Travels. 19.5 pts
02. The Carpet Crawlers. 14.5 pts
03. The Lamia. 13.5 pts
04. Entangled. 12.5 pts
05. Get 'em Out by Friday. 9.0 pts

#18 thread will be opened soon Big smile

Yeah, that's the idea. One's got to get in eventually. LOL

I'm tactically voting to try and keep Ripples out of the Top Twenty (why people are voting for that and not Mad Man Moon is baffling to me but hey ho..)

1. Duke's Travels
2. Carpet Crawlers
3. Down and Out

Mad Man Moon is a great song, as is Entangled. I'm talking about Ripples though; that is a beautiful song.
