Great list. Very similar to my collection. So I will list newish stuff not on your list. And, I'll check out the 5 bands on your list that I'm not familiar with. ( Thanks for such an outstanding list!) Other bands I would recommend are... Follow Neo-Romanic's advice and check out more Discipline. Logos- newest album Gandalf's Fist- newest album ( Maybe greatest concept album of last 20 years) Barock Project Advent- 2015 album Seven Steps to the Green Door 3rd Degree |

Ah yes !!! Discipline with Matthew Parmenter. I've got Unfolded Like Staircase and To Shatter All Accord. And also, the 3 CD of Matthew Parmenter. I recommend Eyestrings as well. It is Matthew's nephew band. http://https://myspace.com/eyestrings |

In a very similar vein, the new album from Blueneck is out and sounding very polished. |

Nice posts PhideauxFan. Not quite sure how to classify this next one, BirdsEatBaby, perhaps progressive art-rock from the UK. Smooth and very listenable and a bit different to today's contemporary progressive bands. If you like this then check out iamthemorning and Midas Fall.

Happy New Year (its New Year's day now in Australia). Here is a recent release from English group Maschine from their new album Naturalis. This track has a bit of an 'edge' to it, the rest of the album is also good but more in the vein of IZZ. |
