Something a bit more experimental - progressive black atmospheric metal. Khonsu from their 2016 album 'The Xun Protectorate'

This track reminds me of Hawkwind tracks like "Void City" or "The Forge of Vulcan".

Yes, although with Jean Michel Jarre style electronics instead.

Better to insert it here ? It's counterpoint-oriented, from an album published 17 years ago.

Arcane Roots new album - Melancholia Hymns just out (mixing prog & alt rock). Here is one of the better tracks from this release.

Also Caligula's Horse have a new album out, a tad mellower and softer than previous albums, and IMO their best album to date.

Lastly Lunatic Soul's new album, Fractured, for fans of Riverside. Also recommended listening for this month.

I discovered this album a little while ago, and indeed it was most beautiful. Too bad the physical copy was way too expensive, and ended up buying it digital, which I might end up regretting a little bit... but the price difference was just ridiculous.
