Topic: Calling all reviewers list your masterpieces? Posted: May 14 2010 at 01:23 |
Calling all reviewers
List all your masterpieces
I am always after new artists and music so very open to this. The best music I have heard recently is due to these 5 star reviews. Maudlin of the Well, Anekdoten and IQ to name a few.
Just go into your reviews page, sort by ratings and select with mouse all the 5 star reviews and copy and paste in this thread.
It will take a couple of minutes but eventually this thread will expose all those albums worthwhile getting hold of!
Heres my list of 5 star albums. (the stars arent working but you can see the lists.

Not too many reviews done, and most of those Camels are really short and crappy ones I did years ago. Not proud of them. But I'll paste them anyway to give Overhead and Circusfolk some recognition.

I bet you agree with my rating for The Final Cut.
And yes, Isis is definitely recommended. Great post-metal/sludge band.

Perfect. If you can just put my nickname above this list so people will know it's mine.
Actually, because 5 star ratings are about 1/4 of my reviews, I'm currently going through my collection, revisiting and re-thinking about if they deserve 5 stars. But so many great music, it will take a while. Frank Zappa - Freak Out descended from 5(-) to 4(-) for example.

The only two I reviewed and gave 5 stars too (I don't really have enough reviews to count as reviewer, though, so for what little it's worth). MAGMA Ëmëhntëhtt-Ré
| review EDDIE HENDERSON Realization
| reviewI've never been totally comfortable with giving E-Re five stars, though, as I don't consider it to be a particular Magma masterpiece (great album, I think, but if I were to give just one Magma studio album a five it would be Kobaia -- I think the band released lots of great albums, though). There are a ton of albums I would give five stars too if I were to review them (and very few in my collection would I rate less than three since I think I have a very good music collection).

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.
