Le Grand Sbam and Nick Prol & the Proletarians were my favorites from this month. For the latter, it was a really neat idea of making an album out of a bestiary of imaginary creatures. I could have sworn I read an alphabestiary written in poetic form from sometime before 1910, but I can't remember what it was called.

Also liked the albums by Cathedral, Allomerus, Mad Crayon, Ellesmere, and Il Paradiso degli Orchi.

Thanks for the hard work putting these lists together. Thumbs Up

Furvent is pushed strongly by Dur et Doux label.

Anyway what an excellent work Mike! Clap

Thanks again. This is really woderful. After seeing this list, it makes me wonder why some people dare to say that prog is dead.

Agreed! Although I think for many, anything other than Genesis/Pink Floyd/Yes/King Crimson/insert-prog-giant-here at their peak is the death of prog. Others would just say that it is continuously evolving........although given I was born in 1993 I guess I don't have the nostalgia of experiencing the early 70s live to sway my view?

I think 2020 was a very good year for 'new' prog (wasn't a good year for much else!), some great albums in these monthly lists so thank you T-Cat!

Thanks for letting me know.  I couldn't find anything showing a date change, but then I also couldn't find any streaming sites either, so I just left it hoping someone else would know.  I'll make a note of this in the list.

I have added Le Grand Sbam to my AOTY list.  Excellent album for sure.  I have been curious about that Nick Prol album and will check it out.  I haven't had time to listen to as many as I wanted to this year, but thanks for the recommendations!
