Progressive Biography

I was born July 14th 1986 to a sculptor and a musician. Needless to say I was virtually born with an appreciation of art. Despite all that my love for music didn't truly start until I was 17 while I was going through a hard rock period. I bought Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" because I liked the title track. After truly enjoying it, I got into the habit of buying an album a week (now ill only get one a week if I can restrain myself somehow). I'm currently on a break before I return to school so all the time I'm not working is free, and I dedicate it to both playing and analyses of music.

Before discovering this website my knowledge on prog was very minimal. Within that month I was already an addict. I do however like (literally) every genre of music at this point in time. I do admit that the "Progressive Rock" defined by the site is my favorite genre of music.

Current favorite prog subgenre: Jazz Fusion

Some all time favorite albums:

King Crimson - Red
Genesis - Selling England By The Pound
Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun
Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
California - Mr. Bungle
Bus Driver - Fear Of A Black Tangent
Return To Forever - Romantic Warrior

Please Note that I will be re-writing all of my pre-"Horses In The Sky" reviews
