Route Nine biography
ROUTE NINE is an obscure Dan Swanö side project featuring Dan Swanö (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Anders Jacobsson (drums). The project was very short-lived 1992 to 1993 which included a demo and single. In 2001, they released an EP "The Works" which included the demo and the single "Before I Close My Eyes Forever."

The music is one of the more experimental works of Dan Swanö, mixing progressive/death metal, jazz, gothic ambience and the tracks vary greatly lacking any cohesiveness or relation to one another. They were approved by the Prog Metal Team and highly recommended for fans of Dan Swanö's impressive body of work.
