4 stars Another fabulous album from a great band. The album bursts into action with Bedlam Fayre a punchy and catchy track. Smoke and Mirrors follows in a similar vain perhaps a little more subtle. The shattered room is more dark and moody, as is eyes of Lara Moon.Tantalas builds superbly from the accoustic start. Purgatory Road is the highlight of the album with its swirling guitar and a great chorus. Opera fanatica is a great closing track and almost goes prog metal.

Rob Sowden has never sounded better than on this album, and Clive Nolan just gets better. This is a well balanced album with good songs throughout. I love it and it's not even one of their best three albums (including live). How amazing is that.
