4 stars Since Power And The Passion, Eloy definitively became what we all used to think it really is. Though the keyboards domination had not yet become as obvious as in late 1970s, organ/synth layers apparently started to prevail over guitar passages. The album has a lot of really brilliant moments... but nevertheless, sometimes (perhaps it depends on a listener's mood?) it seems rather a collection of brilliant musical moments than a strongly constructed concept album. This feeling is partially dissipated with very powerful final track The Bells Of Notre-Dame. Some parts of Love Over Six Centuries are slightly boring, but the mindblowing Mutiny restores the harmony.
